I’m endlessly amused by the concept of one of Musks creations biting the hand that feeds it, but there is a much more important lesson here. LLMs are pretty easy to stand up these days, but their creators need to be hyper vigilant about the shit-in, shit-out problem.
Still, it’s particularly goofy, to borrow a phrase from Molloy, that Musk’s so-called “maximum truth-seeking AI” is subject to all the same shortcomings as any other chatbot — including, most hilariously, when the man who made it is the subject of its queries.
