We’ve been living beside aliens for millennia. We could see them and only NOW are we able to decode what they’re talking about. We’ve only been peering (substantially) into the universe for 100 or so years, we can’t see shit and we declare we’re alone. Ok, whatevs. Our chauvinism blinds us.
